MEK members in Camp Librety

.

As #NCRI led by #Maryam Rajavi relates the Iraqi authorities who are responsible of #Camp Liberty have prevented importing of clothes to the Camp. During this time, the above mentioned authorities have recently prevented entry of other ordinary needs that havebeen bought by the residents.

These kinds of suppressions and systematic violation of the human rights show that they do not observe the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Government of Iraq and the United Nations on 25 December 2011. The question is why the above mentioned responsible of Camp who is named Faleh Fayad, and is the one who acts on behalf of the regime ruling #Iran, behaves so and no one protests. This means a kind of appeasement toward this regime in #Iran especially after signing the nuclear agreement between the regime and the 5+1 powers.

#Iranian people remind U.S. and UN. and the other 5+1 powers to take into account the history of cheating of this regime in hiding its nuclear activities during the past decays and so not to trust it. They regret and are uneasy to see the result of the nuclear agreement is oppressing of the members of #MEK (#PMOI) who are living in #Camp Liberty and who have revealed the hided nuclear activities of the regime ruling Iran.

Iran nuclear deal with 5+1

Iran’s controversial military nuclear site in Parchin that Iran regime fears to be under IAEA inspection.

According to what Free Beacon reported on Tuesday mullahs’ officials threatened a top International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) official that would be harmed if he tries to discover the nature of the agency’s secret side deals with Tehran for U.S. lawmakers. This is why Yukiya Amano, IAEA director general, refused to say anything about the nature of certain side deals during briefings the top U.S. officials because he feared such disclosures would lead to reaction by the regime ruling Iran.

Alireza Jafrzadeh in an article reported that after the nuclear deal was announced the streets of Tehran were filled with chants of freedom by Iranian people. But on the other hand the Iranian people don’t trust this regime in such deal. Regarding to the above mentioned repot of Free Beacon the U.S. officials should not trust the regime ruling Iran with a history of deceptions, but think of a decisive solution.
In this way NCRI revealed: Iran regime’s top nuclear weapons official counterpart of IAEA for inspection of Parchin

All these improves that this regime seeks atomic bomb as the only measure of it’s survive. And also this is why Maryam Rajavi the president elect of CNRI has announced several times the only way to get rid of the crisis of nuclear weapon in the region is changing the regime ruling Iran by the Iranian people and its resistant organization MEK (PMOI). The MEK was the first toexpose the existence of the Iranian regime’s secret nuclear infrastructure in Natanz and Arak in August 2002, which explains Tehran’s hostility.

Iranian dissidents in Camp Liberty and U.S. moral obligation

Secretary of State of U.S.and residents of Camp Liberty protesting

The U.S. and other 5+1 world powers made a nuclear agreement with the regime ruling Iran in mid-July, which allowed the regime’s nuclear infrastructure to resist but conceded to lifting crippling sanctions.

Now, it has been revealed that U.S. and other negotiating powers accepted to be quiet as the Iraqi responsible of Camp Liberty has increased pressure on Iranian dissidents taking refuge there. For months now, nearly 2,500 Iranian political refugees residing in that Camp have been subjected to frequent blockades by the Iraqi government on behalf of the Iran government and deprived of the most vital life-support needs. That is to say on numerous occasions, including since the conclusion of nuclear weapons negotiations, the Iraqi government, acting at the behest Tehran, prevented the entry of food, fuel and other vital resources, put a humanitarian crisis at this camp. It is clear that the MEK (PMOI) residents at Camp Liberty who are striving for liberty and democracy in Iran for more than two decades and were the sole and first organization that exposed the existence of the Iranian regime’s secret nuclear infrastructure in Natanz and Arak in August 2002, which explains Tehran’s hostility, now they have come under increasing pressure after Tehran signed a nuclear agreement with world powers.

On the other hand the U.S. as Cols. Wesley Martin (ret.), Leo McCloskey(ret.) and Thomas Cantwell declare has a special moral and legal obligation to the residents to whom had promised to protect them. So the Secretary of State of U.S. and also the UN should intervene to press the Iraqi government to ensure that they are properly protected and that they are not subjected to similar blockades in the future.

Iranian dissidents in Camp Liberty.

Residents of Camp Liberty protesting against siege held on them
It is about onemonth that Iraqi government has prevented the entry of food, fuel and other vital resources to #Camp Liberty in Iraq where live 2400 #Iranian dissidents. This is while these residents are members of #Iran's main opposition, the People’s Mojahedin organization of Iran (#PMOI) or (#MEK), and were formally recognized as "Protected Persons" under the Fourth Geneva Convention. They were also recognized as "Asylum Seekers" by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in 2011. For six years, forces under U.S.command protected them. Since 2009, the Iraqi government, committed several deadly attacks against these residents, in which no less than 116 unarmed residents were murdered. In 2011, at least 36 residents were also killed and hundreds were wounded in a deadly attack that was done by Iraqi security forces. And, fifty-two more were murdered execution-style by Iraqi forces in September 2013.
These residents at Camp Liberty are striving for liberty and democracy in #Iran. They have come under increasing pressure after #Tehran signed a nuclear agreement with 5+1 powers. Since then the West has exercised silence and closed his eyes on this crisis in Camp Liberty in order to make satisfy the regime ruling #Iran. We call all human right defenders to put pressure on Iraqi government to stop such inhumanity behavior in Camp Liberty and remind the U.S. that has a special moral and legal obligation to the residents to protect their lives.
